When Nolan Parthmore is propelled into a world of modern-day knights battling supernatural evil by a magical helmet, he is compelled to become the hero he was born to be.
Nolan Parthmore was just a typical guy, hanging out with his buddies, working at his gaming shop, and flirting with his coworker until fate called. A strange antique helmet is delivered by a courier with no notice or explanation. Nolan’s whole world transforms when he puts it on. The helmet comes to life and summons Lord Dragsmere, a wicked demon held captive by Nolan’s late father. Nolan quickly learns that he is the next in line in the lineage, the successor to The Nobleman, and that he is destined to be a hero whether he wants to or not. The Noblemen have been guards against the 13 Devil’s Apostles since the Demonic Ages, when dark powers escaped from hell and were turned wild on Earth. The descendants of these initial knights have the capacity to open the Alpha Rift, the sole protection against these otherworldly adversaries, generations later.
Nolan Parthmore is played by Aaron Dalla Villa (Gotham), who is accompanied by Lance Henriksen (Aliens) and Rachel Nielsen (Mare of Easttown). The film’s director and screenwriter is Dan Lantz (Bloodrunners).
